1. Facebook accounts
No Facebook passwords
DealersGO never asks for a Facebook password and never stores one. It works in the salesperson's own signed-in browser.
No Facebook API
It fills in the same forms a person would, at a person's pace, one listing at a time with a gap between posts.
Only what you start
It acts on Facebook when a salesperson starts a task. To know whether someone is signed in, it checks that Facebook's session cookie exists; the value is never sent anywhere.
Pauses when signed out
If someone signs out of Facebook, posting stops until they sign back in.
2. Buyer messages
Off until you turn it on
When it is on, it checks about every 30 minutes while the computer is in use, never between 9 pm and 7 am, and only opens conversations Facebook marks unread.
Nothing is sent for you
Replies are suggestions or drafts. A person presses Send, every time.
AI only if you choose
If your administrator turns on AI descriptions or reply drafts, the vehicle facts and the conversation are sent to Anthropic's API to write the text.
3. Your dealership's data
What we keep
The inventory, a log of listings (vehicle, salesperson, date, price), leads from buyer messages, photos processed for backdrops, and error reports. Used only to run DealersGO for your dealership.
Never sold
No data is sold or shared with anyone for advertising.
Yours to take
Leads, listing history and team reports export to CSV at any time. Ask us and we delete your records.
In the browser
Settings, posted vehicles and conversations are kept in the salesperson's Chrome; uninstalling removes them.
4. Logins, keys and payments
Keys you control
Each salesperson has their own key. Revoke it in one click when someone leaves.
Passwords hashed
Dashboard passwords are stored hashed (scrypt), never in plain text. Sign-in links are single-use.
Roles
Owner, manager and view-only logins; only the owner adds managers.
Payments by Stripe
Card and bank details go to Stripe, not to DealersGO.
